Get back foreign VAT on business trips
Most companies with business in the EU carry out business trips and are charged in connection with these foreign VAT. We help our customers get most of this VAT back. Costs for, for example, hotels, rental cars, taxis, fuel and other transport are subject to VAT. VAT is also paid on costs for the purchase of various services when participating in international fairs. Entrance tickets to trade fairs, exhibitions, etc. are also subject to VAT. For a number of years now, we have seen a sharpening of the various authorities' views on hotels and rental car invoices. In most countries in Europe today, the authority requires that the invoice be issued to the company and not, as in most cases, the traveler.
We would like to urge companies to inform their traveling employees that if they do not include the company's name on hotel invoices and car rental invoices, the company will not receive a VAT refund on these invoices either.
